Our fine government leaders got us in the current economical mess and they didn’t seem to have much difficulty in getting us in such an embarrassing situation. Therefore it shouldn’t be very difficult to get us out of it. Here is my simple proposal…
If our leaders in Washington have any pride whatsoever they would propose that for 3 years all government employees take a 50% cut on their compensation. That would do it!
In no time the budget will be balanced. Can you imagine our leaders putting all the pressure on the average American? Social Security is sacred to many American people – how can they dare touch that? Give me a break.
