Bob was a champion and a businessman, but the titles he cared about most were the ones his family gave him: husband, Dad, and above all, Nonno Bob.
Fifty years with Dorina
Bob met Dorina on the Fourth of July in New York, and they married in Mali Lošinj on November 6, 1966. Their marriage was built on love, respect and shared values. On November 6, 2016, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together.

Dad
Bob’s greatest pride was his children. He gave his daughter Michelle the strong family values she carried into her own family with her husband, James Mayotte. He gave his son Richard his love of tennis, and coached him all the way to the professional ranks.

Nonno Bob
His grandsons, Mason and Robbie Mayotte, gave him the name he treasured most. Bike rides, pool days, birthday cakes, graduations: Nonno Bob was there for all of it, and the love between them was deep and mutual.

A generous man
Everyone who knew Bob talks about his generosity. He was selfless, always putting others ahead of himself and never expecting anything in return. He was honest and humble, he loved a good conversation, and he never stayed quiet when he saw an injustice. He loved animals too, especially Maddie.

Bob passed away peacefully at home in Delray Beach, Florida, on November 21, 2016, surrounded by his family. His love, his integrity and his passion for life live on in all of us.
